Our roadmap for Administration and Project Standardization currently focuses on creating tools to streamline project setup and create company-wide standards along with enhancements to our data federation capabilities.
Autodesk Construction Cloud account administrators will be able to add companies to project templates, set product access based on roles, and view an activity log for the entire project.
Autodesk Construction Cloud users will have even more capabilities within Bridge. They will be able to better control versioning of shared files, including promoting markups when new versions are shared.
Autodesk Construction Cloud users will be able to select from sample project templates to get projects started quickly and can customize based on template type.
Autodesk Construction Cloud users will be able to import a form template at a project level into either a project template or another project.
Autodesk Construction Cloud users will have a new, redesigned model viewer on mobile for 2D and 3D file viewing.
Autodesk Construction Cloud users will be able to view, select, and edit issue attributes to their 3D Models directly on their mobile device.
Our roadmap for Document Management currently focuses on delivering more controls and flexibility for the Common Data Environment along with enhancements to the approval flow, models viewing engine, and standards.
AutoCAD and Docs users will have powerful integrations between the two products that allow them to see the history of all activity on a given file and import markups made in AutoCAD to files in Docs.
Autodesk Docs users will be able to add project specifications to the system, auto-generate specification division and sections and reference those to other parts of their ACC project.
Our roadmap for Construction Management currently focuses on building tools that allow users to leverage models in construction, increase customization and control in cost and project management workflows including RFIs, Submittals and Correspondence and improve onsite scheduling.
Autodesk Build users will be able to view assets from a Model in 2D and also group smaller sub-objects, like window trim or panes, into a larger composite object, like a full window.
Autodesk Build users will be able to add references to correspondence at creation, reply to correspondence on iOS and when bulk uploading emails, users will receive a notification with the upload status.
Autodesk Build users will be able to create and manage advance payments within the system and recoup the money throughout their payment application lifecycle within a project.
Autodesk Build users will have enhancements to Forms, including additional dropdown options, an increased text response limit, and new restrictions on discarding Forms.
Autodesk Build users will have a new, redesigned model viewer on mobile. The new viewer will be more stable and powerful for 2D and 3D files and improved navigation on sheets.
Autodesk Build users will be able to add project specifications to the system, auto-generate specification division and sections and reference those to other parts of their ACC project.
When receiving RFI notification emails, Autodesk Build users will have a public link to the RFI detail report, which will be accessible to all users.
Autodesk Build users will have an enhanced submittals view, which will allow users to group submittal items by packages. Additionally, Project Admins and Submittal managers will be able to add Watchers to Review Templates.
Autodesk Build users will be able to collaboratively build and update detailed work plans directly within the Schedule Tool. Users will be able to create independent and connected work plans in the context of the schedule to understand handoffs and constraints better, address them, and keep projects on track proactively.
Our roadmap for BIM and VDC currently focuses on bringing model qualification and conditioning to the unified platform and creating interconnected BIM solutions that provide easy access and value to stakeholders.
Access model data and check for inaccuracies in a tabulated format. Arrange and sort object data however you need to see it in the object table found in the model coordination tool of BIM Collaborate/Pro.
Easily visualize model elements from a single model or model aggregates with color. With this release, BIM Managers will be able to assign colors to any property in the model.
Object exclusions allow BIM Managers to select properties to exclude from clash detection for an entire coordination space. These exclusions are useful more than once, so this release will allow users to create a reusable exclusions list for other coordination spaces.
3D Issue Markups allow BIM teams to create Markups in ACC then view them as a thumbnail in Navisworks using the Coordination Issues Add-In.
3D Issue Markups are useful to communicate changes or Issue details visually. This release will allow design and construction teams in Design Collaboration to view markup thumbnails from the clash tool or anywhere else a markup is created.
Autodesk BIM Collaborate/Pro users will be able to add references to correspondence at creation, reply to correspondence on iOS and when bulk uploading emails, users will receive a notification with the upload status.
Our roadmap for Preconstruction currently focuses on delivering a connected and powerful preconstruction experience for bidding, risk management, quantity takeoff, and estimating to empower contractors to quickly, predictably, and confidently win more of the right work.
Bid Board Pro users will be able to search through new opportunities that BuildingConnected Pro users have made discoverable. They can add jobs they’d like to bid on directly to Bid Board Pro, where they can immediately view project files, send messages to the company bidding out the project, and submit their bid.
TradeTapp users will see improvements to the questionnaire forms, helping subs fill out questionnaires faster and ensuring GCs wait less time for responses.
ProEst users will be able to import line items directly from Excel into their estimate.
