We are focused on delivering on our promise of a unified platform to help connect teams and project data from design to done—reducing risk, protecting profits, and increasing predictability.

Below is a select list of features we are actively developing. This is our global roadmap, please note that not all features will be available in all regions.
Administration and Project Standardization

Our roadmap for Administration and Project Standardization currently focuses on creating tools to help streamline project setup and create company-wide standards along with enhancements to our data federation capabilities.

Account Admin Improvements

Autodesk Construction Cloud account administrators will be able to view an activity log for the entire project.

Bridge Enhancements

Autodesk Construction Cloud users will have even more capabilities within Bridge. They will be able to leverage file versioning for non-automated shares, import PlanGrid As-Builts and Bridge will support Autodesk Data Exchange.

3D Issues on Mobile [BETA]

Autodesk Construction Cloud users will be able to view, select, and edit issue attributes to their 3D Models directly on their mobile device.

Document Management

Our roadmap for Document Management currently focuses on delivering more controls and flexibility for the Common Data Environment along with enhancements to the approval flow, models viewing engine, and standards.

Files Enhancements

Autodesk Construction Cloud users will be able to enforce multiple naming standards to a project and export 2D views of DWG and RVT files with markups into PDFs.

Sharing Files and Transmittals

Autodesk Docs users will have the ability to share files and transmittals up to 1000 individuals.

Reviews Enhancements

Autodesk Docs users will have the ability to delete inactive approval workflows as well as search and filter workflows in the Reviews tool and Project Templates.

Sheets Permissions

Autodesk Build users will be able to set Sheet permissions for specific roles in Project Templates.

Construction Management

Our roadmap for Construction Management currently focuses on building tools that allow users to leverage models in construction, increase customization and support better control in cost and project management workflows including RFIs, Submittals and Correspondence and improve onsite scheduling.

Asset Enhancements

Assets will be automatically associated to a location that was added manually to a Sheet in Autodesk Build.

Correspondence Enhancements

Autodesk Build users will be able to reply to Correspondence on iOS.

Cost Management Payment Application - Advanced Payments

Autodesk Build users will be able to create and manage advance payments within the system and recoup the money throughout their payment application lifecycle within a project.

Cost Management Enhancements

Autodesk Build users will will have the capability to export their Contract SOV to Excel and reimport, will have flexible distribution item creation in cash flow and allow reviewers edit in-review documents during approval workflows.

Forms Enhancements

Autodesk Build users will have enhancements to Forms, including increased text response limits, new labor tracking report enhancements, and the ability to remove a reviewer from the form.

Autodesk Build users will be able to view, select, and edit issue attributes to their 3D Models directly on their mobile device.

RFI Enhancements

In RFI email notifications, Autodesk Build users and external collaborators will see a public link to the RFI Detail Report, accessible by recipients with and without a Build license. Additionally, users will be able to include attachments as part of the official RFI response.

References to planned tasks

Autodesk Build users will be able to link references such as photos, files, sheets, assets, and issues to planned tasks within the connected or independent work plans, providing the necessary context when needed.

Disconnect work plans from schedule

Autodesk Build users will be able to disconnect a previously connected plan from the schedule.

BIM/VDC

Our roadmap for BIM and VDC currently focuses on bringing model qualification and conditioning to the unified platform and creating interconnected BIM solutions that provide easy access and value to stakeholders.

Correspondence Enhancements

Autodesk BIM Collaborate/Pro users will be able to reply to Correspondence on iOS.

Colorization

Easily visualize model elements from a single model or model aggregates with color. With this release, BIM Managers will be able to assign colors to any property in the model.

Preconstruction

Our roadmap for Preconstruction currently focuses on delivering a connected and powerful preconstruction experience for bidding, risk management, quantity takeoff, and estimating to help enable contractors to quickly and confidently win more of the right work.

Plan Room in Bid Board Pro [BETA]

Bid Board Pro users will be able to search through new opportunities that BuildingConnected Pro users have made discoverable. They can add jobs they’d like to bid on directly to Bid Board Pro, where they can immediately view project files, send messages to the company bidding out the project, and submit their bid.

TradeTapp Enhancements

TradeTapp users will see improvements to the questionnaire forms, helping subs fill out questionnaires faster and helping GCs wait less time for responses.

Building Connected Enhancements

BuildingConnected Pro and Bid Board Pro users will be able to add their team members to an ACC account.

Import Estimate from Excel

ProEst users will be able to import line items directly from Excel into their estimate.

Import output definitions from another project

Autodesk Takeoff users will be able to import output definitions from another project.

Data and Intelligence

Our roadmap for Data and Intelligence currently focuses on creating in-product customizable reports, dashboards and additional features to help companies get actionable insights from their data.

Autodesk Construction Cloud users will have a new set of Construction KPI Templates through PowerBI focused on schedule-based analytics.

Autodesk Construction Cloud users will have access to a new schema set within Data Connector for Takeoff data.
